For 10 years, we’ve been building a caring community of professional women who network with a purpose and a desire to make a difference. United in our belief that all women hold the promise within to build successful, self-sustaining lives, together we are helping others.
We give our talent and time to raise funds to provide support, college scholarships and professional mentorship to help north Texas women emerging from challenging circumstances to improve their lives. In fact, to date we’ve given over $80,000 to local organizations and awarded $50,000 in scholarships.
Studies have repeatedly shown the importance of education on health, earning potential and overall success. We recognize when a woman is empowered by support and education, the impact is felt for generations.
Famous for our signature Happiness Hours, inspirational luncheons and spectacular galas, we are women helping women right here in our own neighborhoods. Our reward is seeing the success of our nonprofit partners and the transformation of Women With Promise scholars. By mentoring them on this journey and being a part of this caring community of #differencemakers, the gifts we receive are far greater than those we give.

The Women With Promise Scholarship Fund was developed in 2018 as part of our commitment to make a difference in the lives of women who are emerging from challenging circumstances and who have partnered with a social agency. These women are looking to improve their lives and the lives of their families- and higher education will help them achieve their dreams. From professional certifications, vocational school or a four-year university, we support our scholars all the way to graduation. We will also match our scholars with a professional mentor from our caring community of women, so they never walk their journey alone.

Difference Makers
We were thrilled to present Stephanie Chandler of Community Well's BabyBright Beginnings program with $10,000 to help at-risk women and children in Denton County, thanks to our caring community and attendees at our last Happiness Hour.
Happiness Hour attendees were touched as Stephanie talked about the overwhelming need and challenges these moms with young children face.
"We have a waiting list through December and were unable to help any more families this year. Thanks to Women With Promise, we can now add 15 more families to our program and fund 630 hours of direct services," Stephanie shared when presented with the donation.
BabyBright's goal is to support every family until their child enters school. Each family receives 6 hours a month of comprehensive support, including:

Community resources such as food and diapers and a family goal plan

Group social connections to foster community and peer support

One-on-one lesson plans and modeling learning activities

Family screenings required by our curriculum
In total, this translates to 630 hours of direct services, benefiting approximately 45 individuals. However, estimating an average of three people per family, though in reality, this number is often higher.

In 2013 a diverse group of talented and successful business women decided they wanted to do more to make a difference in their North Texas neighborhoods. Research mixed with intuition and many discussions lead the founders to the conclusion that focusing on women's issues would have lasting effects on individuals and families for generations.
